Donations of all levels go towards their many levels of research and education.

  • provides a package of bees to start a hive in one of our apiaries.
  • provides one complete beekeeper suit with gloves so we can expand the number of students and community members who can take tours of our hives.
  • will fund one beehive, which is capable of producing 50-80 lbs of honey per year. We want to grow to 200 hives, which would allow us to become more self-sustaining through the sale of honey and bee-related products.
  • Like humans, bees get sick and they require medicine, nutrition, and a clean habitat.  Provides equipment, medicine, and maintenance for hives in our apiaries.
  • educational apiaries on Mason’s campus for groups like Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, K-12 school groups, and environmental clubs.
  • provides a full scholarship to a student in one of our social impact and entrepreneurship classes to study abroad over Spring Break with our honey bee initiative in Colombia.
  • research equipment and testing to support our ongoing study of pollen quality, drone congregation, and queen rearing.
